Pizzeria Capperi’s tables are booked a day in advance
Capperi specializes in Neapolitan pizza and opened its first pizzeria in Oulunkylä in 2017. The restaurant has been a huge success and shortly Capperi is opening another restaurant in downtown Helsinki. Winpos has had the privilege of following Capperi’s success and growth firsthand, since the restaurant has been using a Winpos POS system for 2 years.
Two years ago, a group of friends decided to start a restaurant, where they would feel at home, in their own neighborhood. This resulted in restaurant Capperi, which has quickly become one of the most popular pizzerias in Helsinki.
Capperi has a little over 50 customer seats, which are often fully booked. Especially in the evenings, the restaurant can get filled very quickly, so it is a good idea to book a table in advance.
- The secret behind our success is high-quality handpicked raw materials and trimmings, which we import ourselves. The products we use have been chosen as top products in Italy. But what wouldn’t you do for the best pizzas in Finland, says the happy restaurant manager Miguel Angel Papaianni with a laugh, and adds that good customer service is of utmost importance to Capperi.
Genuine Neapolitan pizza is baked in 460 degrees Celsius in a copper plated oven for only one minute. The baking method along with the genuine and high-class ingredients make Capperi the only pizzeria in Finland, which has been accepted as a member in Associazione Pizza Napoletana Gourmet.
Onward to conquer downtown Helsinki
2019 is off to an exciting start. Capperi is expanding and opening another restaurant on Richardinkatu in downtown Helsinki. The new restaurant is centrally located and has 45 customer seats. The opening will be on 8.2.2019.
The new restaurant will also be using a Winpos POS system. The chain control allows centralized follow-up and management of both restaurants.
